Identity of Harry Potter Professor?

Towards the end of The Half Blood Prince, there's a Hogwarts Professor who appears to get hit by a wand spell and likely killed. Just curious who he might be or if he was just an unfortunate "Red Shirt" professor?

I've tried looking on the Harry Potter Wiki site but couldn't find him amongst any of the unnamed Individuals. As I said, I'm just curious.
