Ideal Ship and Bridge.

Awhile ago, there were several episodes in which another ship’s captain shows the ability to destroy planets, inhabitants at will.

These were all shown inside a brown cabin.

Anyone please provide reference.

Thanks.

Basically My question is this regardless of crew (most of us would undoubtably choose our closest friends as the central command crew.) What would be your ideal ship and bridge?

For me it's simple I would choose the Motion Picture refit Enterprise
with a repainted and slightly re-configured Bridge.
the color scheme would match the Original series
The Science station would be where it is WoK-TVH
Communications would be between the two turbo lifts (directly behind captain's chair)
Engineering would be where communications was (TMP-TVH/TFF?)
Misc station originally placed Behind Captain's chair (WoK-TVH) would now be between Engineering and Weapons console)
I would chose the Bozeman type, sans the uber-cannons and use the bridge from the Big E circa ST: V

For both ship and bridge:

U.S.S. Enterprise.

NCC-1701. No bloody A, B, C, or D.

For myself interior wise, I would have to say the NX-01 pre season 3 (I hate, hate the idiotic idea to randomly change the color palette to match TOS thats decades later...it also doesn't really work with the rest of the aesthetic look of the original design).

But its the one ship that visually looks like people actually work there.

It's the one that honestly seems functional.

Exterior design, thats a lot tougher question. Depending on my mood it could be Refit Enterprise, Nebula class, Akira Class, Excelsior class, Defiant class or Nova class. If the nacelles didn't move you could add Intrepid class, but I hate ships with moving parts (seriously if their warp field needed to be in that configuration, why wasn't it built in that configuration....).
