It use to be worse. Similar to a watered down version of /b/ with all the racism and scatological interests.

 

Yeah. 90% of the TNZ hate, I'm sure, dates back to the days before the forum was hidden (or when it was hidden, but with the Briar Patch public as a sort of middle-ground). I know I denigrated the hell out of it until I eventually signed in to its latest incarnation, specifically so I could watch a specific poster experience the ripping of a new asshole. I was disappointed that it wasn't as bad as I remembered, but just in that case. In the larger picture, it's a lot more fun than the bad old days.

 

You know, Hoshi is kind of hot.

 

And she didn't have the "Ridiculously Ugly Vulcan Hairdo" thing going against her as T'Pol did (for me at least).

 

T'Pol's lips are a major turn off to me.

 

I think if her hair weren't so severe, the way her lips look wouldn't have been as bad.

 

^ Yeah, I think they went overboard on the Vulcan Hair™ thing. Even in the original series, T'Pring had long, flowing hair.

 

It's not logical to look like a Romulan salon reject...
