Spoilers I wish ST: Picard would show

I pointed out in another thread... the Dominion's connection to Picard would come from their dealings with the Son'a, as brought up in that masterpiece Star Trek: Insurrection. I'm sure we've all been dying to find out what happened to the Son'a and the Baku after that riveting story. And the Dominion connection could be a very big part of all that.

Indeed. The shows are dealing with specific themes and stories, not tying up all loose ends from past shows. Perhaps the next show Star Trek: Reunion, will have a season long episode called "The Wrap Up."
Exactly. They didn’t put 7 of 9 in the show to wrap up VOY. They put her in the show because she was a previous Borg drone like Picard was. Unless the female Founder has any link with Picard, she won’t be in the show.
Now with that said, in the spirit of the thread, I wish ST: Picard would show…the Enterprise-F. But not that thing from STO. I want a new unique design.

Lower Decks, while definitely a good show, is basically Futurama in Starfleet uniforms. I'm talking about something in the same vein as Discovery or Strange New Worlds, but set post-NEM. It would be interesting to see how the destruction of the Hobus system affected the Federation and the Alpha Quadrant beyond what happened to the Romulans.
I thought they put her in because she’s a popular character whose actress is still attractive.
There’s no reason to think anything has changed with the female changeling’s situation. She is either still in a cell, or a stringer treaty has been made which released her.

If the reason why she was brought back was because she ‘looked pretty,’ then they would have dressed her up in that stupid catsuit she wore in VOY. She’s no more or less attractive than any other Trek female character.
And anyway, the point was if she was brought back to bring closure to VOY, and it was not, since she never referenced VOY or its other characters at all. She might as well have been another character entirely instead of 7 of 9. The ONLY aspect of her character that remained (and was the reason why she was in the show at all) was because she was a former drone like Picard.
