I wish Chris Hemsworth can be in Star Trek again.

Lieutenant Commander
I wish Chris Hemsworth could be Star Trek again

The man is absolutely stunning and I am not only talking about his physical appearance. He is a three dimensional actor who can play any role to perfection.

I wish he had more on screen time in the first film or maybe they could have flashbacks of George Kirk at Star fleet academy with Captain Pike in the second film.

However I know that is not possible; a lot will be going on in the second film for them to do flash backs of Captain Pike and his pals in their academy days

One can still only wish.

I'm gonna have to see shirtless pictures to be sure ;)

Just cast Hemsworth as the grown-up Sam Kirk. Done and done. :p

*awaits the inevitable "But we don't know if Sam exists in this universe!" arguments*

Well, he would indeed exist, because he was alive before Nero's incursion, being Kirk's elder brother. Whether he grows up to marry Aurelan and move to Deneva is another story.

he created an awesome memorable character in only a few minutes of screen time. That opening was probably the most powerful trek I've ever seen.

I agree, but back when the movie first came out there were people arguing that he might not exist at all because the character that was originally supposed to be him was instead referred to as "Johnny" (after Jim's original line was dubbed over).

Those people are silly, then. That's like saying that Nick Locarno never existed because his character was changed to Tom Paris for Voyager.

"George Samuel 'Johnny' Kirk, your brother. Only you call him Johnny." ;)
