I want to see "Let the Right One In," dammit!

But alas, I don't live in Sweden. If you're not aware of this flick, it's a vampire movie that's been highly successful at numerous festivals. The problem is, it doesn't appear that there's going to be any plans for U.S. distribution, though there are plans for an American version (of the book the film was based on, not a re-make of the Swedish film, a la "The Ring") So how can I see this movie?

Well, I live in the United States, and it has been playing at the Landmark Century Theater here in Chicago. I think it might be in limited release, which is why you might have had trouble finding it. I would suggest typing in the title at Fandango and checking where it might be playing near you, or just checking at all your local theaters.

If it isn't going to hit your city, then you can catch it on DVD and Blu Ray in March. Excellent movie, btw.

Like most foreign films, it's only playing in art theaters in big cities. I've considered taking the train into Philly to see it, but I'll probably end up catching on DVD instead.

Thanks, sithlord. The closest it will be to me is Shreveport, LA, next week. I'll have to see if I can switch schedules with someone at work to make it, but I definitely want to see it before March. Thanks for the link.
