IIRC, they did get the license to do DS9, but after low sales for Fool's Gold they let the license expire. Though, I'm not sure how they were able to use the DS9 characters for the Kelvinverse comics. In fact, I'm very surprised they didn't go with TNG for that one.

I'm assuming they must have renewed it then, because there's 2 purely DS9 stories in Waypoint. There are also Voyager and Enterprise stories too, so I'm assuming they must have also picked them up.

Damn, I was really hoping Waypoint having those stories meant there was a chance we'd be getting more DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise comics once it was done.
