I think my HP printer committed suicide

I was running off a invoice last night, halfway in I hear a loud bang, the front cover jumps open a smedge. I look inside the rail that the print-heads run on is sitting at an odd angle, and there's a pool of ink under the black cart and it's got a knick in the bottom of it. Put it backtogether-- looks like a clip is broke, can't be sure-- and next thing it starts banging the heads from one end to the other till the rail jumps out again.

Oddest damn thing I've seen.

You know what to do.

They don't make stuff like they used to.

I've been disappointed by HP stuff on more than one occasion, and I avoid that brand now. Had their customer services been helpful to me when I called them, then things might have turned out different, but instead that was the last straw for me.

Wouldn't be the first time an HP product has commited suicide, I wonder if they design them to break.
