I.S.S. Titan & I.S.S. Ares

NICE!!!

Can't wait to see a side-view. I really like the paint scheme. I can imagine that each captain probably has their ship painted slightly differently (although within a certain Imperial limits). The ship then becomes an extension of the captain. :devil:

Very cool.
 
Wow!! I hope they do have the Titan separate at some point. Makes me think of a battle between our Captain Riker against the Mirror Captain Riker with an eye patch at least. Hehehe.

I love the idea of Mirror Riker with the eyepatch. With the story on the Titan, it also gets around the problem of why hadn't Riker executed Picard (or vice versa) for the loss of the Enterprise - D.

This looks pretty slick... like a number of others here, I think that the "mirror" engines look better than the "Akira-style" ones (note - NOT "Akira-rip-off!). On the other hand, I also like the idea that the Titan nacelles were probably designed based on the same root design as Akira's, maybe even manufactured in the same factory.

Which brings to mind... in this "Alternate-Alternate Universe," we'd probably see an Akira-class there as well, and that Akira classes engines would probably be made at the same facilty as your mirror-Titan's engines would have been.

Anyone feel like doing a quick-and-dirty Akira-with-these-engines image? I get the impression that this would improve the Akira as well... ;)

Oh, and I like the smaller ship you did as well... what, exactly, is the role of the Aries intended to be?
 
The Ares would be Like a Star Destroyer in the Star Wars Universe. She
would come in Shoot First and ask questions later. (If there were anybody
left to ask questions to.)

She would also be responsible for planetary bombardments from ordit.
 
Well Here is the latest Update on the I.S.S. Titan.

I have completed the top, bottom, and side views of her
both in her standard configuration, and her multi-vector
battle mode.

I have also added the captains skiff as well on the bottom
view. Although in the Mirror Universe it is the captains'
attack shuttle. It is a little different than the one on the
U.S.S. Titan.

Just keeps on getting better and better. I keep on thinking of a good storyline to do with the Ares and Titan together with Captain Riker. Hehehe.
 
I figured something happened because I was over on Scifi Meshes too and you had the same problem there too. Any chance of seeing views of the Ares soon?
 
I will start on the Ares as soon as I am finished with the Titan. I still
have the Multi vector modes to create for the for and aft views.

Soon as that is done the Ares will begin Construction.
 
The mirror universe was invented for a reason. So you could see how badass Starfleet would be if they weren't the good guys(mirror borg would probably go around promoting individuality). These designs prove it, in my opinion.

Hey TD, any chance of having the USS Titan and the ISS Titan in the same pictures, side by side, in all the different views when you finished.
She is starting to grow on me now, i think the ISS has helped with that, nice one.
