Re: I.S.S. Titan & I.S.S. Ares Actually I think Ellery did finish it when he did a group of Images for Star Trek Magazine, but he never posted any other shots. He has since moved from my area to Wisconsin as is a Assoc. Prof at the Univeristy. I have not heard from hime in a little while.
Re: I.S.S. Titan & I.S.S. Ares The Imperial or Dark Mirror version of the starcraft model of the Titan is finished. Here is a link to the pictures. I should have my kit of the U.S.S. Titan with in a few days. Then I get to do something I haven't done since I was a kid...."Build and paint a model". And it is of my own design. http://s995.photobucket.com/albums/af79/StarcraftModels/ISS%20Titan/
Re: I.S.S. Titan & I.S.S. Ares Awesome. I'm going to get both models myself, at least eventually in the near future.
Re: I.S.S. Titan & I.S.S. Ares Hrm. I thought the mesh was going to be released to the public when it was finally complete? Is that no longer the case? I'm sure we would all love to see many more visuals of her!
Re: I.S.S. Titan & I.S.S. Ares Unfortunately, that is up to Ellery. I have no control over his Mesh. Sorry.
Re: I.S.S. Titan & I.S.S. Ares Here is a $35 Starship Registry Change Commission for Shari Woods. She wanted the Basic Luna Class Starship but with her Name and Registry swapped in instead of the Titan's. I have decided that if there is a want I will continue these kind of commissions. Not limited to the Luna Class. I will open this to all of my designs. $35 for name and registry swaps. A little more say if you wanted the I.S.S. Titan Converted (Colors and Markings) to a Variant U.S.S. Titan. ($10-$15 more Depends on the Modifications asked for). Sean Tourangeau Adobe Illustrator CS5 10-5-2010
Re: I.S.S. Titan & I.S.S. Ares Damn, that's unfortunate! I thought S&S commissioned the mesh? Wouldn't they have some say-so on such? It's a real shame we don't have more SFX-style visuals of the Titan. She's a beautiful ship, and we only ever got one or two "finished" product photos. Shame, shame, shame. On a side note, my Titan model is almost done. About two weeks and I should have photos.
Re: I.S.S. Titan & I.S.S. Ares I know I have not heard from Ellery in a little while. If it is an consultation the U.S.S. Titan Model was build directly from that Mesh.
Re: I.S.S. Titan & I.S.S. Ares Here are some shots of the 1/1400 Scale U.S.S. & I.S.S. Titan by Starcraft models U.S.S. Titan Designed by Sean Tourangeau (ME)
Re: I.S.S. Titan & I.S.S. Ares I encourage you to. You know I wasn't a fan of your ship from the outset. I admit to a certain lack of vision as to how truly good the design was because it wasn't a beautiful design. (which is what I wanted) But as I saw it come to life it became apparent as too how well thought out it was. It exceeds far over the Sovereign and Prometheus and maybe the best designed along side Galaxy and Intrepid. It maybe for no official capacity but I'd hate to see this be the sole splash in the ocean as far as big projects are concerned.
Re: I.S.S. Titan & I.S.S. Ares ******UPDATE************************** DO NOT DO COMMISSION FOR SHARI WOODS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She paid via paypal, then when she received the Digital File from me she had paypal withdraw the payment. I contacted her and she said it was her bank that took the money back and it wasn't her fault. I arranged for her to send a check, she said she would send payment via snail mail, have not received payment as of yet. She does not return emails now. So again DO NOT ACCEPT COMMISSIONS FROM SHARI WOODS!!! Sincerely Sean Tourangeau
Re: I.S.S. Titan & I.S.S. Ares Damn that sucks Sean. I would have taken that money out before she had taken it back. But that is messed up through.
Re: I.S.S. Titan & I.S.S. Ares ^^^ I don't think it would have mattered. IIRC, if you have a checking account or credit card hooked up to PayPal it will pull the money out of that linked account. If you don't have a linked payment account (don't think this is even possible, actually), then you would have a negative balance that would be filled up whenever you received money into PayPal at a later time. Either way, you loose. Definitely sounds like she pulled a fast one. Sorry to hear about that, Sean. It's always a sad affair when someone doesn't pay up for delivered work.
