I Object To The DS9 FAQ!

To Jeffery Combs being best known for his roles in DS9 as Weyoun and Brunt (although I didn't know he played Brunt). He was well known long before DS9 for his starring roles in horror movies as well as other works. He is most famous for his roles in Re-Animator and From Beyond, both based on stories from H.P. Lovecraft, (although ebaring no real resemblance to them).

Sorry, but it had to be said, the man has done a lot of work in the biz, and should be commended for being a force for creativity.

And he's a capable actor to boot.

I think it's meant that they are his best known roles amongst his various Trek roles.

I absolutely love Combs and he is indeed amazing in every single thing he ever does.

However, IMO it's an accurate statement that he's best known as Weyoun and Brunt. I believe the Reanimator movies are even more obscure than DS9 is. Hence, nothing is wrong with the FAQ in this regard IMO.

I saw a movie on sale recently (I think it was one of those low budget Sci-Fi channel films) he was in at FYE. The description lists Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Enterprise, but doesn't mention reanimator. It only attracted my attention because it had his name, but I don't recall any references to Reanimator on the packaging. Didn't buy it though.

Yep, he's great. But the movie sorta sucks. Which is strange - it's a great premise.
