I never noticed that before

I've always wondered if those contacts they use for makeup effects are very different from every day contact lenses. I've heard from several actors that they were terrible to wear.

You know... I thought the exact same thing! It did look like a TNG uniform, but then timeline wise would that be correct? Both TNG and Voyager are supposedly based around the timeframe.

Admiral Janeway had a cameo in 'Nemesis' so that's what gave me the impression. She's obviously older, i suppose her father would have worn an earlier designed TNG uniform.

I'm probably confused haha sorry if you're too.

Do you remember the adorable puppy in "The Q and the Grey"? If it was possible for the dog to survive in an aseptic environment such the one we can find on board, I wonder why Q didn't let the puppy to Janeway's care, knowing that she was so very fond of dogs ...and was likely to be/feel lonely too ("a house never seems like a home without a dog to greet you when you get there")? I tell you, she would not have needed Chakotay's "sympathetic ear," or Michael's presence in her existence if the dog had remained at her side (in fact,
she would not have suffered from loneliness) and, Naomie would not have felt so alone in those years! Ah, Q, you failed to do a good deedmissed!

Or of Mennonites/Amish.

I always wondered if there be any Amish or the like on Earth in the 24th century. Given how peaceful Earth is at that point in time, I can certainly see an entire country set aside for such people.

On the other hand, given how many people died in thd third World War, I can see the Amish and similar groups completely bombed out of existence. Of course, there may be a high volume of groups like Alixis from DS9's "PARADISE" appearing, maybe even going to other planets to start their own colony.

Yeah, I could see the Preservers transplanting some of them, or even them colonizing other planets on their own volition. They left their home in Europe all that time ago to escape religious persecution, and continue to expand to new colonies/settlements to this day because of cheap available farmland to pass down to their large families, business opportunities, etc. Why not a different planet?

I just re-watched "Caretaker" today, and this is the first time I noticed that Quark tells Harry he obtained the gem stones from a strange creature called a "Morn."

In "Caretaker" I noticed when Tom Paris is in the shuttlecraft with Voyager's pre-caretaker helmsman (Stadi?) the registration number on the shuttlecraft changes from "74656" to "1701-D". It'd kind of jarring to see.

Just rewatched Caretaker on Thursday night and noticed that Janeway is drinking coffee with cream in one scene. Eh? When did "coffee, black" start?
