I need a hobby that yields tangible/profitable results

Tsugaru shamisens. They're pretty much a wooden box with a neck and three strings. Unfortunately, they're very expensive and made almost exclusively in Japan. If you were to offer a shamisen for about $100 at some kind of online store that would be the most awesome thing in the world.

I tried to get into arts and crafts once when I was going through a period of depression/anxiety. It even made me more depressed to realize I had no artistic craft talent whatsoever. *Shrugs* Well, as long as you know what you like, go for it.

I actually used to be the President for my college's Habitat chapter. It's a good time, but I'm looking for something I could do at home.

Hmm...

Build dollhouses instead.
Habitat for Barbie and Ken.

No,no,no those two already have a 'dream house'!

I'm certain there's more money (and fun) in building "habitats" for a different kind of doll: replicas of the Enterprise bridge for those who collect Star Trek dolls for instance, or 'alien' dioramas for those who want their little plastic-aliens displayed 'professionally' but lack the time/creativity to build them themselves (but have money to burn).
