I nearly destroyed something beautiful today

Ah, right. So as long as you've been doing something wrong for a long time and it has become a habit, that makes it okay.

In speech I can understand (you're basically saying "should've") but in writing it's inexcusable. Interesting it should occur in this thread; a good example of something (the English language) being destroyed. :rolleyes:

I nearly destroyed a clothing wrack, while pushing my wheelchair around in a shop. But I wouldn't say that was beautiful.

But it will teach them to clutter up isles to people in wheelchairs can't get through.
Oh don't get me started about things that are really wheelchair unfriendly, everything from paths, to idiots who just stop while you're right behind them.

There was one time i was coming back from getting some fast food. Something caught my eye, like a flash or something, which was probably just sunlight reflecting from a window, but whatever. So i turned my head to look at the flash, and when i turned back to the road, a second later, there was a cat running across the road. I slammed on my brakes and thankfully the cat made it to the other side of the street and i continued on my merry way.

... The red Ford behind me merely passed over the creature, who ducked in between the wheels, and I guess was safe again. I never saw it again afterwards, though. :( ...

Do you know why? That pesky Wabbit was back at the burrow relating his score for the day;

Had to duck ~ 8
Caused car to swerve ~ 9
Resulted in 'driver trouser incident' ~ 3
Accidents resulting in jape ~ 1

*cue round of apaws from the other bunnies and much harelarity*

I swear they do it on purpose ~ happened to me and wabbit ducked ~ I'm sure I saw a line of his bunny pals going 'Oh bad luck Thumper' ;)
