I must admit, I was surprised

I'm glad to learn more details, and glad she got a good deal! What a great Christmas surprise! :D

Actually, she called me from the car on her cell, and said she needed help with our daughter, who had been sick. I went out there, she was laughing, and it took me several seconds to even notice the new car. In my oblivious defense, it is the same color as the previous one.

Look at it this way:

1. She didnt discuss it with you.
2. She is using either her money or your money to finance this car.
3. See #1.

Sounds like she is Miss Independent who dont need a man to tell her what to do. One day she is buying a car without discussing it with you and the next she is out with some guy!

I'd be pretty impressed if she could spin having an affair as a surprise Christmas present.
if it was another chick who desperately wanted a threesome.

There, what do I win?

SBK1234, I think your wife sounds like a gem. But, there's one very important question that has, as yet, remained unanswsered ....

What kind of car?

Details, man, we want details. ;)

Or is that just me? :shifty:

When I was in High School, a girlfriend gave me a car.

Matchbox, but still....

Are you ready for this? A Toyota Sienna. I know, the interest level of this thread probably just plummetted. I should have said a Porshe.
For a family that includes two adults, three kids, and two 70+ pound dogs, it works for us.

LOL! Not at all. I don't have the kids, but do have the two 70+ lb dogs, and I'm looking at station wagons, myself. The Hubby is not amused. But, I think I'm over the SUV thing for now (had one for 10 years), but need the canine cargo/passenger space.

Have fun!
