This MUST qualify me for official geekdom! I had a dream last night. Fairly errotic. The unique thing: the female in question was an Andorian. She was quite attractive, but the fact that we're of different religions was slightly disturbing.
Since I know the look I'd get from my wife if I asked her to put on blue makeup and a white wig before, I know that's out of the question!
Advice?

Are you and your wife different religions? Dreams are metaphorical, for the most part. If not religion, is there some other issue the two of you have been on opposite sides of the fence about? If you take this Andorian woman and "make her human" - give her a normal complexion (put aside hair color for the moment, just concentrate on her face), is she your wife or someone else?

I don't have any kind of education in psychology or mental disciplines of any kind, but one of the things Trek is known for is social commentary on human conditions and attitudes in sci-fi drag. It sounds like your subconscious is trying to tell you something.

Well, keep track of it on your own. See if it becomes a recurring thing.

Personally speaking, I had trouble sleeping when I was at a job I wasn't happy at, and I had only started the job a week before, so I hadn't had a chance to consciously decide if I liked it yet, but when I quit a week later and started a different job, I slept fine. Your body and subconscious tell you things before you realize it on purpose.

Instead of making your wife wear blue makeup, you can always put on blue tinted sunglasses for the same effect.
