Not the 1997 series with Peta Wilson but the 2010 series with Maggie Q.

I just finished the last season and mostly I liked it.

It's a little more out there and has scifi elements mixed in with the spy stuff which the previous series didn't really get into that much from what I remember but this series looks way more polished and bigger budget then the 1997 offering. I have previously never seen Maggie Q in anything except Die Hard 4 where she's a mook for the main bad guy, and his love interest.

I really don't have anything specific to pick on with the show. The stories were nothing out of the ordinary though there were threads that spanned multiple episodes which did make it a bit more interesting to watch. Season 4 was less then half a normal TV season today with I think 6 episodes but that was due to them knowing about the show being canceled. They did manage to wrap up a lot of things in those episodes.

Their main bad guy was Amanda and she was OP as a bad guy always one or three steps ahead of our heroes and way too clever and brilliant then she should have been always managing to evade capture even when our heroes could grab her with little effort. Somehow she slips away due to plot armour.

Anyway it was a fun ride.

6.5/10

I enjoyed it, though I watched it back when it aired locally.

I was rather more familiar with Maggie Q as I'd seen her in a few films earlier (MI3, Naked Weapon, Three Kingdoms and Die Hard off the top of my head - though IMDB indicates I'd seen her else where)

Shane West was mostly ER (Though probably saw him in Buffy first) and I'd seen Lyndsy Fonseca and a few of the others in other things first.

I have been contemplating digging out the dvd's for a rewatch.

This has only been my 2nd rewatch. I first binged the series when the dvds were brand new after they had been released.

I knew Shane West from ER because I watched that show on and off on occasion, that's where I discovered Alex Kingston who later went on to do Dr. Who. She's also done a lot of other TV including Law & Order shows.

I haven't seen any of the other cast in anything. I would have loved to have seen if Lindsy, Xander, and Melinda Clarke have done anything interesting so shall look them up one day and see if there's anything that might interest me.

I wished Michael had stayed with his prosthetic hand. But yeah they cloned him a new one. Probably has the carbon fiber bones like that other guy in the other episode had with his legs.

For me, I remember Lyndsy from a tiny part in How I met your mother and Kick Ass with a later role in Agent Carter.

Xander Berkley has been in way too much stuff I've seen (though 24 and CSI spring to mind)

Melina Clarke was another one that popped up in CSI regulary (as a dominatrix named Lady Heather if I recall), but when I see here, I usually think of Nikita or one episode of Firefly. I don't remember her in Gotham though vaguely in Enterprise

I was such a fan of the Peta Wilson series that I skipped this remake. I didn't see how they could improve on it.

Oh shit I forgot all about Lady Heather.. I loved that character on CSI.

Me too but when it came to a home video release I only managed to get season 1 and never completed my set and now you can't buy the series anymore. I liked the Peta Wilson version too but Section 1 was too grim and there was zero humour in this version.
