I have The Dark Knight on Blu-Ray

TheLonelySquire

Vice Admiral
...and I haven't watched it yet. I have a 50" 1080p Panasonic Plasma, 770 watts of Polk/Onkyo surround fury, and a massive subwoofer.

What am I waiting for?

Seriously, I've had the movie since the day it came out, I think 12-9 or something. I think I'm afraid to be disappointed. Ever have that feeling about a movie that's supposedly so great?

I have it on Blu-Ray too. Got it the day it came out.

Before I wasn't sure if TDK or BB was better but, after viewing it again, I've decided The Dark Knight is indeed the best Batman film. When I like a movie the second time I watch it better than the first, that's a good sign.

So dive right in: head-first.

Do you need a cookie or something?

Watch it.

There is no way in Hell you'll be disapointed. If you are, you need to turn in your Nerd Card.

Thanks Trekker. I don't get the cookie reference though?

The mentioning of your set-up seemed, to me, out of place.

Anyway, watch it. Best movie of the year, handidly.

Merry Christmas to you and yours, too.

:)

He mentioned the specs as if to say "I have this badass system, it will surely look & sound great...so why haven't I watched it yet?"

I will agree though that there is little to no chance of being disappointed. Unless of course you go into it hoping for a crappy movie. Then I suppose you would be disappointed.

Thanks, Flux, that was exactly what my intention was. If i were boasting I would have made it a 63" Samsung plasma, which it's not.

I'll let you guys know how I liked it.

Merry Christmas to you and Trekker both.

I promised to be nice today so I'll say I'm happy for you for having not only a pretty good setup but also for having this great movie on Blu-Ray.

I suggest doing what I always do: try to not have any expectations when seeing a new movie. That way most movies are good. I don't think that will be a problem with this movie though :)

I probably wouldn't have bought it if I did not know it would be enjoyable. I look at DvD purchases as an economic vote for shows or movies that I like, so that the companies who make these things will make more of the kinds of shows I like.
