I have a job.

At the moment its only temporary and 4 hrs a day.
But if they get more contracts and i do a good job they could keep me on and increase my hours.
But at the very least it means i will not have a big gap on my cv and a more updated references for other jobs.
Funny thing was yesterday i was really really down and thought i was never going to get any work at this rate and to day feeling quite happy.

I just got a e-mail saying i have not got the Job.
So i rang them back saying they rang me today to say i have the job and it turns out the office sent the e-mail out by mistake
I nearly bust out crying when i read the e-mail thank god it was just a mistake.

Congrats on the job. I have had the email thing happen to me before. I got an interview and an hour later got the email that I did not meet the qualificaitons for the job. scary feeling.

Congrats on the new job! Maybe that's what I should look into? Getting something for four hours a day and then gradually moving the hours up. Still job searching to no avail.

That's where making stuff up and/or shifting the dates around slightly to fill in any gaps comes into it.

Or doing voluntary work ~ I'm doing proofreading for Project Gutenberg. No money ~ obviously ~ but fills the CV gaps! Charity shop work with old ladies who don't know the value of a first edition when it comes in?
