Rear Admiral
A little history here, one birthday my brother said we were going out for my birthday, turns out he already had plans for it and made it seem like it was a planned thing. He calls me and tells me "Oh yeah, I met up with some people I went to school and we're going out for dinner, there's not enough room for you in our cars, you can drive down to meet us."
Then the next one I was on business trip, overseas, the only one in the company there, on my birthday alone.
Next one I my girlfriend at the time decided to go out with some of her girlfriends, she forgot it was my birthday.
The one after that, I was living out of my truck at the time, due to her getting a order for me to stay the house I was paying for. She used the fact that I was traveling extensively and had a constructive abandonment order issued. But karma got her back, she sold the house later, and due to bad decisions lost almost everything and had to move in with her parents.
The next year I was trying to get a new life in order, and my entire family forgot to call or wish me a happy birthday.
The one after that, I had to work all day and wound up doing nothing.
The next one, my sister threw me a party, but my mom got a little too drunk and pretty much ruined it.
Comes another birthday, that one was ok, was taken out to dinner but had to pay my share.
Then last year, sister gives me a nice party. But the girl I was taking as a date, texts (texts me! she didn't even call) me 30 minutes before I was to pick her up and says she had a work emergency and can't make. Later on, I found she lied, and wound up going out to dinner or something with some other guy.
Then this year, I get taken out to dinner, but wound up having what she wanted for the appetizer, split the entree she wanted, and had to pay 1/2 of it again and paid for the movie too. Why? Because she has bills to pay, and I have more money than she does. And also couldn't drink.... because I needed to drive while she had several drinks.
So yeah.... fuck my birthday.... it's just another day.
