The city of Bedford Heights, OH decided to crack down on the drug problem by making it illegal to spit within city limits. They claim the drug dealers are the ones doing the spitting.

If i got a ticket for parking in my OWN driveway, i suppose it would be fun to file tresspassing charges against the city for coming on to my property. See how long that ticket stays on file after that...

How are traffic wardens even allowed on your property.

They aren't issued by traffic wardens. These are issued by regular police who do in fact patrol residential areas.

I currently live in the same area and am constantly amazed by the level of denial the local residents have regarding the myriad problems apparent in the region (crime, budget, pollution, etc.). I still haven't gotten used to the mindset.

I don't follow Ohio politics; I'm not originally from the area and will be leaving permanently in about a year. I do note, however, that the apathy/denial spills over into the "woe is me" attitude espoused by many politicians and I don't have the time/energy/inclination to deal with that.
