I guess in theory it shouldn't, since I have someone's ashes at home. But, remains are just a very odd thing to stumble across early in the morning (unless you live in Detroit).

The birth year and death year were engraved, 1920-something to 2000-something. Not too many pets live to almost 80. Parrots? Those giant turtles?

My restaurant is located along the banks of the Mississippi River. A few years ago, a dead body washed up on shore right outside of our patio. That was creepy.
In Belgium they are just gonna wash the people down the drain, right into the sewer.

The end result is a small quantity of green-brown tinted liquid containing amino acids, peptides, sugars and salts and soft, porous white bone remains which are easily crushed.
The white ash can then be returned to the next of kin of the deceased.
The liquid can be recycled back to the ecosystem by being applied to a memorial garden or forest or simply put into the sewerage system.
