Captain was the last rank I paid attention to my post count. If you really haul ass you can do it in about 5-6 months. Once you get to the Admiralty if you are still obsessively counting you might want to consider some therapy.

TBH, I'm curious as to what happens in the Members' Lounge ("members" lol) and the Briefing Room (or whatever the Mods' secret meeting place is called). I bet they all say mean things about the rest of us.
It took me less than five months of posting to make Captain, now it's like eh, I don't mind so much, Fleet Captain is good enough for me.

At this point, there is nothing you have done here that should be prefixed with the term 'finally'...as if it took some long-ass time.
I mean, I'm very happy for you that you get to move up a lounge and all that. And I congratulate you for your contributions - well done! But for those of us who have been here, like, a decade, 'finally' is sort of a funny term to hear from someone who has been here 2 months.
