Ive really been enjoying Jurassic Fight Club & Evolve, but I have no idea what those 2 science oriented shows are doing on the History Channel.

I watch quite a bit of A&E (I love the crime shows), but cringe whenever I see commercials for their other array of "reality" shows, such as:

The Two Corey's
Gene Simmon's Family Jewells
Dog the Bounty Hunter
Paranormal State
Chriss Angel

Why is it called A&E any longer?

Now CourtTV, or rather TruTV is going to the same formula, with endless shows about pretty much nothing. They have some new one about people who reposes cars. Fascinating.

Jurassic Fight Club is on the History Channel? That does seem like a weird place for it. I mean, technically, dinosaurs do fall under history but it still seems odd.

My hubby and I caught that one night when we were just flipping channels, it was quite interesting. I just don't get how they know so much just from some bones and fossils. But admittedly, I'm not the brightest crayon in the box when it comes to stuff like that.

Discovery has an unfortunate habit of taking a show and totally over-exposing it if it gains a regular viewing audience. It was not too long ago this channel was dominated by all of its biker/car/etc. build shows. The appeal of the shows like 'Ice Road Truckers' or 'Deadliest Catch' is probably the danger and the fact that very ordinary people do these jobs.

I too wonder why 'The History Channel' does not spend much time on History anymore. Shows like 'Universe' are nice, but that is a kind of show that should be on Discovery.
