I Can't Believe What I Found on Overdrive, the Digital Library App

I was looking around on Overdrive, the digital library app a couple days ago, and I stumbled across Captain EO, the old sci-fi movie they used to have at the Disney Parks. I don't know how the hell this ended up on there because as far as I know it's never been shown or available anywhere outside of the parks.
For those who are unaware of it, it stars (cringe) Micheal Jackson, as titular Captain EO, and follows him and his crew of aliens as they go to confront "The Supreme Leader" played by Angelica Huston. It was written by George Lucas and directed Francis Ford Coppola. I still find it hard to believe they actually got the guy who directed The Godfather and Apocalypse Now to direct something like this.
The only thing that makes me hesitant about watching it is Micheal Jackson's presence, but Lucas, Coppola, and Huston might be enough to counteract him for me.

I knew about this but have never seen it. I've also never been to a Disney park, so not surprising I guess.

It was on TV in the '90s. And on YouTube for many years...I assume those copies come from the TV airing, but I've never bothered to watch them.

If you can remember it, odds are youtube already has it........

I remember seeing this at Disney and hating pretty much the entire thing. It was dreadful.

Pretty cool, thanks.

James Horner wrote music for this.

Anjelica Houston as the Wicked Witch of the Borg.

Still better science fiction than Star Trek Discovery.

Wow, it's actually that good? I figured it might be kind of fun in a goofy, campy sort way, but I did not expect it to actually be anywhere near that good.

I'm a big fan of Discovery, especially the second season, so it's pretty high for me.
