He had a girlfriend the last time I saw him. Again, though, that was probably five years ago. (I'm blanking on her name... she was a tall blonde, very pretty.)

To be honest, I am not sure if I like Rod for Rod or because he reminds me so much of his parents, especially his dear sweet mom. I adored her. But either way, I am happy that he is doing well. (I just wish I was a tall blond instead of a short strawberry blond right now. )


And I shouldn't have said "pudgy" to describe him. I think the best word would have been "stocky".

I had the same reaction ... then I realized it's because he resembles a friend who lives on the opposite coast and who I don't see in person very often (thus the not getting it immediately.) I sort had a hubba, hubba reaction to my friend, too, when I first met him ... and his wife ... whom I adore.
