I called a porcupine fat...how do I apologize?

So I've been hunting around for this porcupine for the last few weeks because I think I made it mad . I was driving home late one night and there was this porcupine in the middle of the road, just lazily walking across the street. So I yelled at it to hurry up. Apparently it didn't like that because I think, it was thinking I called it fat due to it being slow, so all it did was take even more time to cross the road...

I feel bad now because I found out, it wasn't fat. Just really slow...and I want to apologize but apparently no one knows where it goes. The squirrels continue to throw acorns at me, the deer don't talk and run away...and well I can't find any other animal to talk to.
