I bought a B&N Nook!

I used to have a Sony eReader a year or two ago...I sold mine. No matter how much I read on the eReader, would go buy the book to have it on my shelf.

I will say that due to the fairly large ebook warez (yeah I know bad) community, I did download and read books that I would have never read before, and enjoyed the crap out of them to the point of going out and buying entire series of books... Alex Kava books come to mind, as well as the Death Gate Cycle. So I guess that community helped some.

This sounds just like the original Napster. Sales of CDs were up 22% after the original Napster was released. So the RIAA wanting to take down Napster was rather stupid. It helped sales.

A lot of people like to try before they buy. I do it sometimes as well. Also the free eBooks we sometimes get do help a lot.
