Funny you mentioned that...my Korean relatives -- not having viewed a single episode of Star Trek -- consider it as some sort of "Power Rangers with visible strings" type of production. Goes to show how Star Trek isn't currently a part of Korea's cultural lexicon. However, they do currently air reruns of TNG, DS9, VOY, and ENT continuously among other TV programs there.
