No, I don't believe it is all connected to Sitchin. I have a very strong suspicion it is so because all the result on Google, for example, lead to that same Sitchin. That, or aliens. Or both.

Alas, the number of earthquakes is quite meaningless in terms of actual seismic energy released. The 1960 Chile, 1964 Alaska, and 2004 Sumatra earthquakes released about the same amount of energy as every other earthquake between 1906 and 2006 combined.

Essentially, any earthquake with a magnitude less than 8 is pretty inconsequential in the scheme of total seismic energy released. The 1960 Chile earthquake released as much energy as a century of all earthquakes between magnitude 6 and 8 (about 1500 of them).

As you can see, the cumulative total energy release is very strongly dominated by the largest earthquakes and there isn't an increase in earthquake energy through time.

Also, the Wikipedia list isn't an exhaustive list of all earthquakes. Have a look at the stats from the USGS instead. They have links to some graphs and an explanation of how the enormous increase in seismometer networks globally now detect more small earthquakes (less than M7) than in the 1980s or earlier.

OMG OMG OMG, this is unreal! several times over quite some time when i'm messing in Wikisky i'd jokingly type in Nibiru and nothing would show up! which was to be expected, well just now I was in wikisky checking something else out and I figured what the hell i'll type in Nibiru and it's just fricking zoomed in on the damn thing!

Go check it out for yourselves people.

Go to wikisky.org and type Nibiru into the search box. The results will blow your mind!
Check it out in normal sky mode then switch to infra-red aswell. When you switch to infra-red you'll have to zoom out to see it all.

Use the same co-ordinates and put them into google sky aswell.

There is no Planet X or Nemesis. It disappeared once they had the capability of making more exact calculations, using advanced techniques, computers and data from Voyager. Lowell was good, but he made his calculations nearly a hundred years ago, with incomplete information.

It's flawed, there's no way of knowing how many pirates there has been and how many there is. For starters there's far more than 17 pirates with the way Somalia is going.

I've just had an epiphany.

I believe that the 21st of Dec 2012 is the date that the stars Nemesis (brown dwarf companion star) or Nibiru reaches it's closest approach to the sun. It's closest approach will be the Kuiper belt and it will cause asteroids to hurtle in towards Earth. Depending on the speed they get hurtled at they could arrive at Earth in about 40 years time after 2012.

So I believe the world will be devastated by multiple asteroid bombardments somewhere around the year 2052+.
