Why is the Dominion on this list? I thought they were exclusively a DS9 entity except for a line or two in Star Trek 9, besides that they're an alliance of races like the Federation not a species, for these 2 reasons I am going to hurt them.

Well by TNG I meant 24th century. So exclude TOS races like Tholians and Orions, exclude Voyager races like Hirogen and Malon.

Although we don't see Andorians in TNG much, as pointed out, they were a significant race in that era, to the Federation, as were the Dominion.
