It also has Spock and Kirk admitting they have "feelings" for one another. Where was Sulu on that one?

No, my problem with the episode is not its humor because it does have laughs. My problem is it seemed very fanboyish. Didn't we have "love crystals" in Mudd's Women? Why use the same thing again? Why didn't they know to be on the lookout for the same thing from Harry Mudd? Give me a fresh story! Don't rehash the same old story with different relationships!
