Some points of interest
Errol went to Hobart High School, a school my father attended years after Errol.
Errol lived in a house in Darcy Street (no 10) , I lived in Darcy Strret (no 24) from when I was 7 until I was 18.
Errol learnt to swim at Short Beach (now renamed the Errol Flynn Reserve). This beach is located at the end of the street I lived in for the first 7 years of my life.
Errol is reputed to have lost his virginity in the carpark of the Hobart City Council. Some have suggested that a plaque should be placed there to honour this fact, but others have said the tourists such a plaque would being would impede traffic in and out of the carpark.
