Hunk of the Week 04/29/09: Hugh Laurie

This is the second time i've started this thread. Lost the last post in a terrible accident. I hate it when that happens, i really do.

Ugh, i dont even remember all the cool things i said before, dammit...

So if you are familiar with my HOTW you'll know im short on words, but long on pics. This time i've also included some of my favorite youtube clips and vids. With Hugh Laurie ya can't go wrong, right?

My daughter and i became fans of Hugh watching House so we didn't know much about him beyond that. We've now seen a few of his comedy acts, and have enjoyed watching him play the piano and sing his wacky songs.

If there was ever a case of getting better with age, i'd say he was it. He may have been rather goofy looking in his younger years, but with the stubbly, rugged face of today Hugh is definitely hunkworthy material.

Im going to start with our faves. Hugh Laurie is someone you can appreciate more when he is in motion. Hey, he looks good in pictures too but he is just so much fun to watch.

House and Dave Matthews also a fan vid starting from this scene. Ok, i'm totally geeking out now. This one makes us squeel with girlish delight.

I love his eyes, there's just so much going on there. He made a terrific Wooster, not as perfect as Fry's Jeeves but damn entertaining none the less.

Gotta give Laurie Two big thumbs up.

I just remember the first saw him in that god awful live remake of 101 dalmations. Oh was that a bad movie.

For Hugh, I'll go with Meh.

I'm fairly torn here. He's much better looking now than when he was younger, and is a very good actor, but still...not exactly hot. Interesting, maybe.

I'm going to give him a "thumbs up" even though I'm not sure I'd call him "hot." But then again, that isn't an adjective that's in common use in my vocabulary. He's definitely attractive (in an unusual way), he's got a great sense of humor, and he gives the impression of being very smart. (That may be part of his shtick, but if so, he does it really well.) And that spells sex appeal to me. I prefer brainy funny guys over brawn or pretty-boy looks any day.

Pretty eyes, too. He's really improved now that he's all grown up.

I'm very fond of Hugh Lawrie, he's in quite a lot of my favourite tv. I haven't seen him in House, and I don't really think he's attractive looking. So, he's going to get a "meh" if only for the fact that I am fond of him.
