While Guerrero recruits a new member for the team, Chance asks FBI Agent Emma Barnes (Emmanuelle Vaugier) to help him stop his former partner, Baptiste (Lennie James), from assassinating a foreign dignitary.

This episode seems to have been aired a couple days ago elsewhere. I'll avoid spoilers for now.

I still think that this series is decent enough to watch when you have the time, but it would never be appointment-TV for me.

Saw this one on Sunday and thought it was really good. Nice plot, lots of action, some good humor, Lennie James, the return of Emmanuelle Vaugier and more layers peeled back from both Chance's and Guerrero's pasts. I also liked Guerrero's little blurb about the kind of freedom their work offers.

It looks like they're trying out Autumn Reeser's character as part of the team. That took me by surprise. I also couldn't help but think she looks like Velma...

Good episode. Really liked the Baptiste character and we get some more info on Chase's past. Liked the return of the FBI agent too.

I liked Layla in Lockdown but I'm not really high on her joining the team. It's like the network decided the team needed a woman. The big three work fine as it is. If it was a recurring role I wouldn't mind.

With all due respect, this just wasn't a good episode, this was a GREAT episode. The writing was tight, and the backstory stuff about the 'unseen' boss was awesome.

This show is rapidly moving up my list of favorite shows I am currently watching. If You are someone who hasn't been watching this show, you are missing THE BEST new show of the year.

Autumn Reeser is onboard a "superhero family" pilot with Michael Chiklis and Julie Benz, so you might not see her character anymore.

To hell with her anyway, I like the hot FBI chic. She makes me drool!!!

I sure hope they put the episodes in the correct order for the DVD.

Agreed...at first I didn't think this show would have any 'continuity' stuff..but wow..they have a great arc going and would be ruined if out of order..

By the Aragorn, is this show done by anyone I should know? Brad Kern? Some of the production names, other than Mcg (which worried me at first) i seem to recognize...whats the deal?

I kept thinking Anne Hathaway when I saw the FBI chick. Which is a good thing mind you.

Definitely agree about this show being a favorite. Human Target is one of the most just plain fun shows on television.

Yep..thats just how I describe it too my friends....PURE fun. A certain show on SCIFI forgot about that word, "fun", and its sequel is equally unfun...Oh well..

I think it's fun.

Wow, that was the best episode out of all the shows I watch this week including Chuck, 24, Lost and House.

Baptiste is an awesome adversary for Chance and the crew and the way they revealed even more big badness in store piqued my interest. I was expecting a fun action hour after seeing the first few episodes of the show, but the writers look to be aiming much higher. No complaints from me if they do.

this show is definitely one of my favorites this TV season
Bear's score, Chi and Jackie are fantastic :D
Valley is cool too, but I like Chi and Jackie's scenes better
