Hulk fanboy moments - SPOILERS

A beaker full of death

Vice Admiral
Admiral
There's plenty for fanboys like me to cream over in The Incredible Hulk, coming out shortly on DVD. I just watched it, and caught the following:

The tv show:
-The music
-An early clip of Bill Bixby
-Ferrigno reprising his role as a security officer from the first movie
-The DANGER sign, the chair, the crosshairs
-Norton's channeling of Bill Bixby, down to the hairstyle
-Banner on the run, hitchiking, etc.
-Reporter Jack McGee

The comics:
-The Leader
-Stretchy Purple Pants
-Super soldier formula

Avengers Movie:
-Tony Stark - cameo and explicit reference to new team
-Stark Industries and Nick Fury in opening montage
-SHIELD

Other:
-Stan Lee cameo
-Some guy in the credits named Rick Jones

Others?

Umm, was Nick Fury in The Incredible Hulk? :p

I feel like this is just a thread for all of us "fanboys" to collectively orgasm.

Starting.......now.

^

No, but as the screencaps show, a memo with his name on it was part of the openin' credits montage.

The stuff Blonsky is augmented with was the Captain America Super-Soldier formula, and the name of the scientist who developed it was on the container Ross removed it from.

Man those schematics for the Stark sonic cannons are making me fangirl-squee! Thanks for posting :)

p.s. I watched the Stark cameo on my BlackBerry last night before turning in -- it got me excited for an Avengers movie all over again

^The costume looks like crap. He had rubber ears on the outside of the mask.

well, of course it's not very good, it uses the freakin' Matt Salinger movie...
Well, at least they had the good sense not to throw in footage of "Thor" from Return of the Incredible Hulk...!

People do realize that Hulk was in the original Avengers lineup for a net total of one issue, right? Team formed at the end of #1, Hulk left at the end of #2. He spent most of that time fighting the other Avengers, then continued to play an antagonistic role in two of the next three issues of that title, plus two intervening issues of FF. Even though he was in a more intelligent than usual mode at the time, he was not a team player, and was only put in the original line-up as a relaunch of the character, as his original series had been cancelled. And it worked, because a few months later he got a feature in Tales to Astonish, which eventually became his own title.

i hope they use Hulk in an antagonistic role in Avengers, preferably going on a rampage in New York ala Ultimates #5 'Hulk does Manhatten'...

This might help explain why Stark came to Ross (the BAD guy in TIH) -- Avengers are going to rein in Hulk.

^That was my impression. But Banner seeming to gain some control of his transformations opens up a possibility of the Hulk ultimately joining the team.

Stark and Ross don't know he's gained more control over it (yet). I foresee awkward battle ensuing!
