Hubby died

I always thought and hoped this thread would be posted many years from now.

As many of you know, my hubby has been sick for several years now. Today I was called to the principal's office. I was half afraid it was to get the pink slip because I fail too many kids. (old other thread)

A fellow teacher, the principal and the head school cop were there.They told me they had gotten a call from the local cops...my first comment was the daughter and right on top of it was hubby. It was hubby.

Daughter had fed him brunch around noon and he was fine. She went to check on him at 3 and he was gone.

We'll make the plans tomorrow. I'm most concerned right now about the daughter. My biggest fear was that he'd go while she was on watch. She's hanging in there, but it is rough.

Sorry to be a downer, but many of you have been kind and supportive in the past.
