Its cold, its boring and I'm all out of ways to amuse myself. Finished Ar Tonelico II last night, and I have no one to play Soul Caliber with.... So video-games are out.

Also, I've read all my webcomics, updated my blargh, and tended to the pets.

I pay $67 a month for internet, now I demand ya'll entertain me otherwise I'm going to get cranky.

That's..... not what I meant. :vulcan:

Ok so what did you mean?
Well, you already mentioned your wife.... good for her that she's coming back as you say. :)

And of course there's.... er.... me. Yes. :shifty: Me.
[Phew, that was a close recovery... - ZR's Brain]
Quiet, you, or you'll be getting no more brain candy this weekend.
[Sorry. I bet you regret saying all that now... - ZR's Brain]
Yeah. :( How did you know?
[I'm your brain, silly, I'm meant to know these things. Why do you think I have this OUTRAGEOUS accent? - ZR's Brain]
I see.
[Now stop arguing with yourself and enjoy the rest of the BBS - ZR's Brain]

My brain stopped talking to me directly like that after I went on the medication. (no I didn't you just stopped listening to me)

I think part of the reason I'm so bored right now is because she *is* coming home next week and I'm kind of looking forward to it.

"It" being having a like-minded creature in close proximity that laughs at my jokes and comments and makes similar amusing comments and jokes... All in real-time. :)

Ah. It's a Julian vs Keiko thing, isn't it? ;) :adore:  [In your dreams, Ravescene - ZR's Brain, again]

Well the cat sleeps all day, the tropical fish don't talk back to me, and the bird hates my guts and bites my hand whenever I feed it.

Tell you what it'll be nice to have someone in the house again that doesn't ignore me or try to injure me in the course of the daily routine.

You could of course get the house nice and tidy in time for the homecoming. ;)

I mean, give her a treat - flowers, a card or three, bake a pretty cake or something.

The service will be in Wednesday to de-bachelorize the building. They specialize in removing food products from ceiling tiles, de-stenching rooms and removing all traces of gluttony from the rug.

As for the cake... if I bake it now it'll be gone by Friday and I'll have to wash the dish. :p

Being married and having raised three kids, I've kind of grown to enjoy the peace and quiet that comes with an empty house (on those rare occasions that it occurs). I hear you about de-bachelorizing the place though. If my wife goes away for a couple of days it takes my son and I the better part of the last day to bring the place back up to acceptable female standards again.

I'm the same, except instead of a significant other of any form, I have the parents.

Yeah well she's been away at the hospital for awhile, so I'm looking forward to having her back. :)

As for "acceptable female standards" the issue is going to be the kitchen. Our mutual friend Sook was "assigned" by Wife Unit to make sure I got at least one decent not-fast-food meal a day, and in doing so Sook totally re-arranged the kitchen to HER standards.

Then we remodeled the kitchen to open up the accessway for a specific mobility-impaired person (The Wife) and I put everything back into the specified locations... and then over comes Sook... and everything got re-arranged AGAIN. :scream:
