Falls are devastating.
Nothing Giger ever did was as disgusting as a human body--it fails you so often, cutting one's creative years.
The human body can at once take terrific abuse, as in folks on PCP shot full of holes that keep on coming--and yet our bodies are also all too frail. Young people take great risks with physical stunts, while folks--even being careful--fall to their deaths, being ignored for hours...days...
I think I'll take an attack from the Alien instead...more merciful
