Well, today I decided it was time to upgrade. I have only had XP till now. My new lappy is windows 7. :bolian: First time I get to use a Windows 7 as my own.

Its a white labtop..just like my white PSP and white earphones. lol

Now I need to decide what I download on it rather then my MSN. I've got a temp. anti-virus(full version) on here till I can find something better. I'd be willing to spend some extra cash on a good one. All the ones I've tried were ok, but never the best.

I also now need to find a background for it, I'm thinking Star Trek, anyone got a link to good Star Trek backgrounds? And I don't mean google'd ones.

I've used VISTA at work, and XP for along time. Is there any big diffs between how vista runs and how windows 7 runs?

As for differences, Windows 7 runs better. If you've got Windows 7 Home Premium, you've got everything you need. Win 7 is faster in almost every respect compared to Windows Vista, it's lighter on resources, and better uses the Intel "i" Series of processors.

For a really good AV, go for Norton. It's not impenetrable, but it's a really good program.
