How would you rate the DSC Main Theme amongst these original themes?

All I know is that I find myself humming the DSC theme in spite of myself quite frequently. I think it's a great piece of music.

I'm exactly the same way. I find it pretty memorable and easy to remember. I don't necessarily think it's better than TOS or TNG, but for me it fits the show well and is quite epic and catchy.

 

[Bad Thoughts]

I knew the TNG theme as the TNG theme first, and only saw it in The Motion Picture later. So, I'm not all hot and bothered by it being reused music, because even when I see it in the movie, my mind still questions why it's playing in the wrong century. It's top dog, or close to top dog for me.

I don't mind it being reused either, but the movie theme is majestic, while the re-arrangement for the series has this terrible galloping beat, as if ABBA took over.

I really like Discovery, and I don't understand why it gets such a bad rap. But even I don't find the theme song memorable. It just doesn't have that "sticking power" imo. And as for rankings;

I like it the most beside the TNG theme. It sounds a bit like a mixture of the original theme and the klingon theme from TMP and "Heart of Glory" imo.

I'll keep it simple. I think the Discovery theme is crap. Worst of them all. I guess all the money they spend on each episode requires skimping in other areas such as the theme and opening visuals.

I like the episodes so far and I hope they get the "war" theme tied up in season one so future episodes can get back to the exploration side of things.
