"leave Pegasus immediately and lock out the Stargate "

Seriously, we have 3 ZPMs total, I say put them all in Atlantis and fly the city back to Earth.

I voted to just get the flock out of there, too. But I agree with Brent: let's bring Atlantis--the entire city--back with us, as well. Just park that sucker in Chesapeake Bay.

It would solve our real estate slump in a hurry, wouldn't it?

But,returning to topic ,running is not an option, considering we kicked off the mess by waking the Wraith in the first place.

Yes,we didn't intend to wake the Wraith, and we have no gainful reason to stay in Pegasus besides Atlantis.

But wake the Wraith we did,and now we,and the Pegasus galaxy have to face responsibility for it.It would be genocide to condemn millions of innocent civilizations in Pegasus to extermination by our error-and then cut for home when we have the ability to fix it.

Yes ,the Wraith did win against the Ancients, and the whole strategic situation sucks, but if the Goa'ould could be defeated in 7 years ,the Wraith can be defeated, and without the moral complications that made fighting the Goa'ould so difficult.

Yeah, its gonna be hard ,but that's the price of responsibility. And we can't turn back from it.

While you make some good points the Goa'uld comparison dosen't work so well. You have to remember that when the SGC was fighting the Goa'uld they had.

1) Allies like the Asgaurd(more powerful that the Goa'uld), the Tokra(had massive intell on the Goa'uld), and the Rebel Jaffa(sprend dissent through the Goa'uld's troops.)

2) The Goa'uld's power was mostly from an army composed of a slave race, so when the majority of the Jaffa rebelled the Goa'uld lost their power base virtually over night.

3) SG-1 was able to take out a good number of the main Goa'uld System Lords in turn causing a slight power vacum.

4) Anubis and Baal crushed a good many of the System Lords in their conquest wars.

4) The Replicators pretty much crushed the Goa'uld System Lords left that SG-1,Anubis,Baal, and Apophis(during his big comeback) hadn't killed yet.

Atlantis on the other hand not so lucky there.

--------------SPOILERS FOR FINALE----------------

Having seen the finale, I would not send Atlantis back to the Pegasus. I would adopt a strategy pretty much like the one outlined by Temis, using the 304's to carry the weapons and supplies to allies in the Pegasus.
Keeping Atlantis on Earth or a nearby world would provide the ultimate in planetary security against any local threats, while providing a treasure trove of ancient tech for reverse engineering.

Since the knowledge of Earth was tortured out of Colonel Sumner in the first episode, the Wraith now know theres a buffet table waiting for them:an especially tempting table given they were overpopulated.
I would kill those Wraith, if possible, to make sure knowledge of Earth didn't spread to the other hives.

Also, I seem to be the only one who voted for the fourth option. Fighting the Wraith was NOT the original mission, and maybe if I stayed out of their way they'd stay out of mine.

I am staying in the Pegasus galaxy and going genocide on their life sucking asses! I would try to get in toutch with the rogue Asgards and form an alliance with them.
