How well does Vanguard read WITHOUT Reap the Whirlwind?

It's the best Vanguard yet, so if you like the first two you'll love Reap the Whirlwind.

I was able to order Reap the Whirlwind through my local bookstore about a year and a half ago, which was fortunate because I have greatly enjoyed the Vanguard series, but would have never read the series if i had been unable to get that book.

I managed to get it when it was in stock at Amazon around Christmas time last year. I don't know how they got it in stock, but they did.

I'm glad that Summon the Thunder isn't as hard to find/as expensive as Reap the Whirlwind. I took StT on a camping trip last weekend and it got rained on and soaked (as did I and all of my friends).

Just ordered a new copy off of Amazon.
