I dont know how to play to star trek bbs can you help me please

Very insightful post (perhaps inadvertently?) 
In those "Future of TrekBBS" threads, I've taken the position that TrekBBS should be thought of in the same category as a games business like Pogo or PlayFirst (or even those wretched Facebook games, which after all, are hugely successful), at least from the perspective of figuring out how to make enough money to keep the lights on.
Most games are highly structured and goal-oriented. TrekBBS is a far more free-form game than the ones usually discussed in this forum, but that shouldn't distract from its essentially game-like nature.
A game is an entertainment experience in which the participant provides a crucial portion of the content. TV shows, movies and books are not like that. You just consume them, you don't participate.
Like any game, TrekBBS requires input from users before it can be anything at all. You can't just consume it. Well, I guess lurkers can, but they're certainly not getting as much out of it as the rest of us are.

1. Login and create a character called a "username" to begin your gaming session.
2.) Fire the "Reply" trigger button to attack the board with ammunition called "posts" to level up to new levels called "user ranks". Avoid rapid firing the reply trigger or else you may be penalized by the score-keeper "moderators".
3.) Entrance into the Neutral Zone results in an instant game over.
