The on-air explainer was quite attractive and knew her stuff, even if she was dumbing it down a bit for the broadcast audience and the anchorman.

The Okudas are probably quite proud of the Star Trek Chronology shout-out.

Yes, I was trying to dumb it down for the audience.... I couldn't go totally inside baseball, some people don't know the difference between Klingons and Andorians.... though I did want to get into detail about the Bajorans, Cardassians, the central role of the Maquis, Ensign Roe, etc, the orgins of the SEALS <- with a capital S.... But, I did what I could! I think the Okudas deserve the Order of Canada, in appreciation of their work!
