How tall are you?

5'10"

I like my height. I think it suits me pretty well. It's all in my upper body too, I have pretty short legs.

My mom is 5'3" and my dad is 5'6". My mother is actually one of the taller women on her side of the family (Italian) and my father is the shortest on his (Polish).

I was going to be taller, but I broke my back when I was 15/16 and that ended all that growing nonsense real fast :p

6'2".

I like this height, except for the fact that short people carry their umbrellas so that the pointy bits are at my eye level. It's a good height for concerts and cinemas though.

I'm somewhere between 170 and 172cm tall depends on who's measuring and what they use to measure. In non metric that would be between 5'7" and 5'8"

I'm about 5'9/5'10... though for reasons I'm not entirely sure of I still publish my height at 6'1 on occasion.

Why, did you used to be taller?

My height fluctuates out of ego rather than fact. I wrestle and often change my height/weight when the MC (who is currently the only MC in the business who happily announces me as from Ceti Alpha V) does the fact checking with me pre-show.

I also change it to annoy people. Theres one guy I work with who's ego is so huge he'll be upset if someones got better stats than him - so I often check his then alter mine - often with something silly like adding an inch or being a tiny bit heavier.

I noticed no one has said 5' 9".

Because the response would be "I didn't know they stacked shit that high!"

Well that's me screwed - I'm 5' 9" and I don't get the joke. Why that response?

6'2".

I hear you on the umbrellas. I hate those things - I spend my entire time dodging out of the way so my eyes don't get poked out!

EDIT: Oh yeah, forgot to say - I'm short for my family - and going by the way my kids are growing, I'm still going to be the short one!

5-6" and a bit.

When I was young, that was pretty tall for a girl. I like the height. I'm lucky to be that tall, as my dad is 5-8 and my mum is 5-2. Until I had my kids, the only female in my family taller than I was my niece, who is an inch taller.

But one of my daughters is just shy of 5-10 and my other two are 5-7, so I'm the shortie now.

I wish I had been 5-10.

^I think over 5' 10" starts becoming a real bother, but 5' 10" and under is still all right. I can't tell you the extra money I've spent on tall pants, and shirts, coats, etc with sleeves that don't ride up to my elbows when I move...and for that matter, nothing seems to fit quite right. The bust isn't at the right point on my chest, the shoulders aren't cut correctly, etc.

I'm waiting for a national chain of Women's Big & Tall stores. I find it funny there's one for men and not for women, esp. since on average the population is 2 inches taller and 15 lbs heavier than it was 30 years ago. Increased demand, you know. ;)

I'm 191 cm or just a bit over 6'3". My brother is 6'4" and hasn't stopped growing yet.
Also, I doubt the embarrassingly short folks have as much motivation to post. :p

You assume that being shorter is something to be embarrassed about. ;)
No one should be embarrassed about something they have no control over.
I'll have to agree here, I for one find a shorter woman more attractive then one closer to my height. That's not to say that I can't find a woman close to 6 feet attractive, not at all. It's just a tendensy I've noted with myself.
