How religiously did Homer and Marge watch Voyager?

You do have to wonder that they must be more than casual viewers who tuned in for the big episodes, the bprg Episodes and sweeps... They dressed up in costume with their friends and had a party insync with the first air of Endgame... That's hardcore, surely?

What sort of percentage of the full episode list do we think they might have viewed? 20 percent? 40? 80? 100?

haha, I imagine 60ish. I'm betting they came in mid-series -- when it really got good. (This is how i feel about myself, started watching Star Trek in general c. 5th season Voyager.) We were pretty die-hard fans by the end, can't say I had a costume :( but I may have owned some rank pins. I remember having my phaser at my side for the Ent premiere ahhaha, oh the days...

0. They're not real.

Thats ironic for somebody who is on a STAR TREK forum.

By the way, in what episode did they celebrate Voyager? I wanna go and see it, now. All we get is re-runs of the Simpsons, I've kinda given up watching them.

"if listened carefully, the theme to ds9 can be heard"

Fantastic!

This is almost as insidious as how they used a Sisko doll (substituting for Tuvok) in the huge penis sketch for the Upright citizens brigade.

It's like the boldest marks Voyager has made on popular culture have been made by Niners having a laugh.

What? I think that was a real Tuvok doll. I remember seeing that sketch on TV - wasn't he wearing yellow? It's been ages.

And Fry in Futurama makes a reference to Janeway along with, I think... Xena and other female sci-fi/fantasy heroes at some point as well. Of course, Futurama does love its Star Trek references. :)

The reason they mention Voyager in the Simpsons episode, btw, I think the dog eats the family album and Marge tries to recreate all the pictures in it -- one of which was Lenny Dr. Hibbert, and the family watching the series finale of Voyager.

Just reading Wkipedia Froot. If it's right, as if liars change entries for giggles, I'm assuming they "painted" Sisko yellow since the skit took place some what in a kindergarten and the paint was on hand.

Though if we REALLY need to know, I can re-watch the episode later today if I can crowbar my ass out of this couch.

Being a someone in a metaphysical space albeit with real interactions is...

Remaking Tron? They'll be remaking Flight of the Navigator next.

Considering they had a going away party probably pretty frequently. I didn't even watch it that much.

Hell, I didn't even have a going away party, so I'm in agreement there.

That Seven of Nine costume is... ack, though. :)
