How old is Amy Pond?

^ She had a Full English and a mug of tea. And was reading The Sun. In a donkey jacket.

The Girl in the Cafe was an excellent BBC film.

The Girl in the Cafe said:
Ladies and gentlemen, we're handing around new proposals. And remember, even if the Prime Minister and I are alone on this, we are not alone. Behind us stand the 30,000 children who will die of extreme poverty each day, and we are proud to be their representatives.

I didn't give my life to politics in order to say that I was part of a generation that succeeded in cutting the tariff on the import of processed coffee to 27.3%. I want to be a member of that great generation that for the first time had in its power to wipe out poverty, and did so. Are we alone in this? Or will someone else stand beside us?

Having said that, Moffat's work is still preoccupied with the Doctor's love life. I'm not saying it's going to be something inappropriate for children -- but I think it's money in the bank to presume that the Doctor's love life will be an important element of Moffat's run.

It would make sense to pair a young doctor with a young companion as well. A fourteen-to-sixteen year-old Amy Pond would be much easier for Doctor Who's target audience to relate to, while simultaneously ruling out romantic tension between her and the Doctor (which, come to think of it, wouldn't be very viable anyway, sandwiched inbetween Rose and River Song).
I don't think that the BBC are going to have a child run away with an exciting-seeming adult man in his flash vehicle! Not when half the UK's kids are watching.

Hahahaha. Well, when you put it like that, it does reveal how much of a shady character the Doctor really is.

Ooooh Kelly McDonald! You know, I rewatched recently Alias and there was this episode with IRA terrorists. And I couldn't put my finger on who was that chick. Until I rewatched Trainspotting. That woman is hot!
She was in a movie recently with Michael Keaton. Got horrible reviews, but I don't care; I'd watch it just for her. :)

She's awesome in Tristram Shandy: A Cock & Bull Story as Steve Coogan's put-upon girlfriend.

And, my dream Torchwood episode would have Kelly MacDonald as Izzy Sinclair. She's the right age to play Izzy as she would be now, a decade or more since she left the eighth Doctor in Stockbridge.
