It has been eight years since my beloved Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the hated (and actually provably evil) New York Yankees in one of the most exciting and dramatic World Series ever.

That was indeed a very exciting world series. Certainly one of the best game sevens in history.

As an Arsenal fan it's been 4 years. A lot of fans seem to be impatient but I'm happy with our (relatively) young team's progress.

Never, and they've only made the Cup Finals twice once in 1982 and again in 1994 both times losing to New York teams.

Years? Try months, 2 to be exact - L.A. Lakers 2009 NBA champs.

Raiders last won Super Bowl 1984. As bad as they've become thats better than a lot of other NFL teams.

USC Trojans - 2005 (I think it was '05).

I think the Dolphins last won a championship in 1973 and the Reds last won in early 80's.

Ravens shellacked the Giants in the Superbowl in 2001.
Terps won the NCAA Basketball championship in 2002 (?). That was a fun riot.
If I cared about the Orioles, that would suck.

Hello. I am a Cubs fan. That is all.

Kidding aside, I'm a Chicago sports fan, so the Sox did win it all in 2005, we were spoiled with the Bulls in the 90's, and the Hawks will be playing the Penguins very soon for the Cup. Sadly, I lived in Pittsburgh for 7 years, and I'd be torn in that series. Oh and Da Bears... need I say more? :-)

Another Cub fan here. Theres always next year right...?

Aside from that I'm a Green Bay Packers fan, last Super Bowl win was 1996.

2000 Superbowl with the Broncos dismantling of the Atlanta Falcons.

Came close in 07 with the Rockies miracle run to win the wildcard and then the NLCS, only to get trounced by the Red Sox in the World Series. 9th inning 2 outs... looks like the Rockies may have just won the wild card again...

I'm a Detroit sports fan so lets see:

Red Wings last one the Stanley Cup in 2008
Pistons last one the NBA championship in 2004
Detroit Tigers won world series last in 1984
Detroit Lions are just piss poor. Last won a title in the 50's.

And since I'm in Minnesota now & do follow the NHL Wild they have never one the cup since they came to the league in '00.

The Lions' last championship was in 1957.
My mother was ten years old in 1957. :scream:

Yep. I cheer for the Cubs when the Tigers aren't doing that well and that kind of thing. I love to see a team get out of a rut and make a go at it :).

Damn, that's a long time ago. Way before I was born... I hope that they (the Lions) win a Super Bowl someday...

It is always nice to remember that there are more depressing teams than the Maple Leafs to be a fan of out there. ;)

The Helsinki IFK won the Finnish Hockey League in 1998. I had a season ticket for that year and managed to see Olli Jokinen score in overtime and win the last game for Helsinki.

Before or after we're dead? :shifty:
