How many Trek authors actually post on this forum?

I know Christopher L. Bennett posts all the time here. Are there any Trek authors that regularly post too?

Kirsten Beyer and Bill Leisner have both posted recently in threads about their respective books.

Still, fewer of us are here than there used to be.

Him, David Mack, Greg Cox....

David McIntee occassionally posts as "LoneMagpie." Others, like Keith DeCandido, drop by occasionally.

Just curious, why don't you have the Writer title under your name like Christopher?

I don't know how that works. Where do those titles come from anyway?

I've never paid much attention to the technical aspects of posting here. You'll note that I've never bothered to select an avatar--or figure out how they work. :)

When you're a premium member (for pay) you get to pick your own title, but I imagine writers can just approach the admin staff.

But I like that Greg chooses to be just "one of the gang". :p

The Few, The Proud(?), The Avatar-less!

Greg, if you want one, I'll get Bonz to contact you and you can work out what would you like.

Bonz read the thread. Just let me know if you want a title, Greg, and I'll take care of it.

David R. George III posted here, until Rough Beasts of Empire came out. I half hoped he'd come back now PoN and RtD are out, and take to task those who condemned his story so totally after only reading the first third.

They come from the magical title fairy. Every year, on New Year's Eve, she picks a special boy or girl, and visits their computer. She finds their favorite sites and gives them the user title their hearts most desire.

Thanks! But, honestly, it's not high on my to-do list. I only mentioned it because someone asked about it.

I'm happy just to post under my own name. (And I figure the link in my sig takes care of the self-promotion . . . even though I haven't updated my webpage in months!)

I vote we give him a user title that says, "Doesn't want a user title." Or maybe, "This user title intentionally left blank."
